I was just about to weed-whack these beauties down when I paused to get he camera. The light was dark and moody and the back ground was a compost bin and brambles but the wide aperture took care of that creating a bokeh effect backdrop. These buttercups are the common ones we find in our yards called 'sagebrush buttercups' I learned there are 6-7 different kinds.
