Sea Blush flowers. Grows in coastal bluffs or partly shaded spring-wet slopes from coastline to mid elevations. Often forms large showy patches. Can be 4-22" I find the ones on the island are about 1-4" The wide aperture allows the flower to be singled out giving a dreamy background for the shot. I spent a lot of time on the ground.
