Every year, in the early fall, the birds feast on Mt Ash berries. The event is so regular that I have a feeling they note the day it starts on their 'internal calendar' as, Mt Ash Day. There were at least 20 crows in this one tree, all fighting for the best berries.
An interesting fact: Mt Ash seeds are indigestible, so birds are responsible for “planting” mountain-ash trees far and wide.
