A recent logging cut shows the remnants of turn of the century (around 1890} logging stumps, and the recent logged stumps, as well as reforestation and protective cones covering the newly planted trees with the hope they will get firmly rooted before the deer and elk munch away. By this time next year there will be new shrubs of many kinds sprouted up in the logged off area, producing feed for the deer and elk, berries for the bears, and pollen for the bees
