Jonas kindly posed with his current carving out of arbutus. His love of carving is deep rooted with the Makonde tribe woodcrafters of Mozambique.

He and his wife had many carvings, paintings available for sale at the Cultural Fest at the Hub. All proceeds from all the artists at this event, entry fee, and food sales were going to the Mozambique orphanage that Jonas and his wife have created. They hope to be moved there by next year.
