Goldstream Heron. Tony spotted this Heron up in the trees, I would have walked right by it.

It has been brought to my attention that my image was sized wrong: 800 px high instead of 700 px high. I have corrected the dimensions in this image.

Super shot for the environment-slow shutter speed-good detail and colour-nice capture of this subspecies of the one legged south island blue heron.
