Sussing out the call and response screeches, this owl was sitting on top of the tree with super large claws. It was very dark, used 1600 ISO and surprised it turned out fairly clear. By the time I got my tripod and set it up, it flew away. That was a missed shot, but the memory of its wing span etched forever in my memory.
