Cowichan River Park

I initially posted this as Radiant Stillness, a mood. Heather informed that this is a poisonous and invasive plant. The invitation is now extended for viewers comment an appropriate title. Many thanks.

Thankfully this plant did not have the common purple spots on the stems after checking the info link below. Most likely was a cow parsnip very common to our area.

Cow Parsnip can cause the same burns and welts, best to stay clear of both these species.

Looks like Giant Hogweed? It is a dangerous plant.
Love image of the girl.

News: Plant experts are warning people in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island to stay away from the giant hogweed, a dangerous and invasive plant that is just starting to bloom.

Coming into contact with giant hogweed sap can cause severe blistering, large welts and burns.
