Looking in a dry Douglas Fir Second Growth forest for owls, I saw a slight movement in the moss, and was able to catch this shrew.
Either a common water shrew, pacific water shrew, Trowbridge's shrew, or a pygmy shrew.
Hard to shoot as each time the shutter clicked it acted like it had been shot.
