Little Grey Bird

Shawnigan Lake

This little guy landed on our deck and sat for about 10 minutes. It then flew up into the trees. It looked very unhappy. Is this a baby Junco?

Thanks all for your comments. My vote still is that it is a Junco. By the way that was hand held shooting through a bouble pane window.

Actually, I believe that's a Fox Sparrow. Gorgeous details and a lovely closeup with nice light in the eye, though.

Yes this is a young Oregon Junco, they seem to be all over the place at the moment. Guess it was waiting for mum to bring it some food.
