Nanimo River Estuary

Pretty chilly there this morning. Duck hunter kept all the birds skitish (is it hunting season? I thought this would be a protected area.

Lovely image, I love that old tree.

Duck Hunting season is from Oct. to mid January.
This includes Cowichan Bay and Nanaimo Estuary.
Dinsdale's field where the T. Swans, sit is open for
Goose Hunting on Dec. 19th.
