That's what we all do RK, except Rod mate :)

Thanks all.
Interesting conversation Aam and Rod. Aam, tend to agree with Rod. I normally dont bother with WB in-camera setting... leave it at Auto. I shoot raw and correct the WB while processing raw... thats the beauty of raw. Exposure is more critical... and in this case... Rod you are spot on, there is a lot BH on the bird. Tried to recover some detai from raw... but there is none there.

You moved it to Pending, eh.
Rod 26-Jun-2008 22:02
I find warm tungsten light very pleasing so I take no notice of the correct WB. If people find BHs very pleasing then good for them, I don't. Why didn't you tell me under the picy? Comments are always welcome:-)

OK, you placed that pic in Pending. But the point still stands. Until you control WB (which is very easy) you can not comment on BHs (very difficult). Dea?l ;)

Rod mate, your comment about BH is a bit off if you ask me, because you can't handle WB, which is a lot easier than managing BHs. Wink :) Oh, you like that warm color I'm sure, wink wink :)

Very nice! I'm surprised the wing tips are blurred at that shutter speed, but it does give more of a sense of movement. :-) CJ

Good wings tip action. I like the legs down, too. Cool. ~Lydia

The overall look is really good but I'm not sure if the stark blown whites are helpful to the look or not. They may be adding to the stylised look of the picy.

Frame filling action :) The out of focus coloured bit sure adds to this. Just the right amount of blur shows the wing movement well.

Nice motion at the end of the wings. The colors at lower left corner are nice too.
