Right on the subject target Brent. Sharp and with just the right amount of punch. -COAmature

Thanks all for your kind comments :-) It's funny how I often go somewhere to shoot something in particular and the best shot I get is something I didn't go there planning to shoot. In this case I went to this electrical station hoping to capture a beautiful cement art deco structure that turned out to be hopelessly obstructed. But I'm a sucker for old signs and rust :-)

This is great Brent - perfect for the challenge! The yellow really stands out nicely from the background too! :-) CJ

A good find Brent.

Scarey and contrary image Brent. The colors and corrosion of the sign say "stay away or you be zapped!", but the words, "Seattle City Light" seem to say "come and be enlightened". I love the clutter in the bg. -tv

Nicely done Brent, the look of the sign against that backdrop is perfect for this challenge mate.

Thanks Penny, Sue Anne, and Aam :-) Of course the rebel in me had that sign giving incentive to go inside. But barbed wire seems to give my skin a rash ;-) I think I need a FF camera too Aam- badly! I was told by a "source" that the replacement for the 5D will be announced in September, hopefully my wallet will be fat enough when that one becomes available- hurry up already Canon!

A surprising DOF at such a short distance (unless this is a crop from the original). You need a FF camera, Brent :)

Like the yellow on a semi-monotone b/g.

heed the warning - this looks like a pretty nasty place.
