Good story! Have you tried to make him B&W? Lighten the green (to light gray) and making the the statue dark grey/black would maybe express power even more..? =)

Since being blasted by Debi and Sue Anne for my "esthetic" suggestions for topics in the forum, I've completely altered my view and will suggest as a possible topic: "Statues". This with its story could be a contender. -tv

He certainly was a powerful figure but who would have thought there would be a statue of Lenin in Seattle! :-) Good interpretation of the topic Brent. CJ

Thanks guys :-) Some Seattle woman got this huge (probably 15 foot tall) Lenin statue in Russia soon after the wall went down and paid a huge some to have it shipped to Seattle where it sat in a parking lot in the Freemont neighborhood for some time until it got a permanent home on a street corner. Freemont is often referred to as "Funky Freemont" and this seems to fit in along with the giant troll under one bridge and Repunzel with her golden hair on another one in the same neighborhood. I'm sure Lenin is rolling in his grave about all the tacky signs advertising things like sandwiches and gelato strewn about the feet of his likeness.
