The two portraits would also fit the topic nicely, but this shot conveys the vitality of the playground, last but not least due to the other children. Great shot, Jano. -Gerald
she's really pretty - and this is a very nice take on the blue/yellow theme.
Great work

I see wot you mean Jano the out takes are really nice portraits. It's funny the perceptions we bring to picys as this wasn't working as well as the crop for me but after logging on a few hours later this works now as a more general picy. I will have a few beers & report back on wot perceptions I bring to this picy then:-)
Thanks Rod and Tv for your comments - I chose this particular shot for the child in the background looking on... I didn't really want a portrait of Amber so much as a whole yellow/blue scheme. When the other kids came into play, I thought it actually added some interest to the shot as a whole. As a portrait shot, no, I agree... the boy in the background is a distraction. But as a whole picy.. I think it works for the challenge topic. I have a few outtakes here....
I'm not sure if the two other people in the picy are helping this to work. I think I like this better when I crop out the bloke on the right just to the yellow vertical bars & cropping 1/2" to the right of the other blokes head on the left side where the chain meets the bottom of the picy. It then becomes more a portrait of Amber.....in Yellow & Blue of course:-)
Wow a yellow and blue playground. I think your daughter has a fan or just a curious onlooker (he looks too young). Excellent dr control and exposure. -tv
