Many Bokeh samples of this lens with the 5D. This lens is meant to be used with FF bodies!

I love this lens. Use it both on EOS 3 and 5D. Excellent.
Does anyone know if the focus is faster on the EF 50mm F/1.2L USM?

a standard to which other lenes should aspire, colours, contrast, bokeh are outstanding.
worth every penny or cent. sharp at 1.2, low light king, focusing is accurate and speedy enough for most jobs. The 1.8 does focus faster and is very sharp from f2. But for me in lowlight 1.2 will and has got me the shot.

The EF 85mm f/1.2L USM II + EOS 1D Mark III = aching forearms, wrist and hand, but ISO 1600 is superb and well worth the pain :>http://www.pbase.com/dlcmh/canon_eos_1d_mkiii#iso1600

The lens is truely fun. Bokeh, and then low light. At any given late afternoon especially at the beach, even when the sunlight is out, usually we would just pack up and go home, with this lens you could still shoot for another 30-45 minutes or until it becomes so dark you have to watch your steps. The amazing thing is, you would think those would be bonus hit or miss shots because there just wasn't enough light, only to fine them later to be the most amazing shots of the whole day. If you already have one, enjoy...but if you not yet own one, give it a thought.
