Thank you CJ and Techo.
Now that you mentioned the green cast...I can feel that too. it is funny, i never noticed it before. i will do a little tweaking, the first chance i get. -Abstract

Nicely shot. I like the lines and overall composition. Shot has a slight green cast to it, not saying it's unnatural though. Just to get more attention to those lines, tweaking it to get a more cool and almost b/w look to the rest of the shot except for the road lines and intersecting sign.

Great road sign Abs! I think this would look even better without the borders though as they are a bit distracting. Maybe if you felt you needed a border, just use a smaller one all around the picy? Good shot though! :-) CJ

Rod, by the way where are you in Australia? (in Brisbane?) yesterday, one of my cousins flew to Adelaide to study in a uni, so just thought of asking you. -Abstract

Thank you Mikey and Rod.
Rod, those two borders are there because of the crop i used for the shot. The bright yellow dividing line snaps the viewer into the bottom corner and wider crop provides longer/overwhelming horizontal eye movement in the direction of the road.
i think, the border gives the photo/crop a wide-screen meaning/feel. of course, one can argue that the composition itself takes care of everything but these borders automatically forces the viewer in the "wide screen" mode. Hope this explains the purpose of these border.

Btw, if I were you I'd delete the comment you wrote. It ruins the photo :)
