Hey thanks Tom :-) You know I've had this lens for a while and am just recently starting to use it more (tend to be a wide angle kind of guy). I like the results I've been getting with it, and in fact I am waiting for Fedex to arrive with a 1.4X extender for it any minute now- should be fun to use.

Thanks Jano, the brightness is looking okay here- but on tired eyes, so I'll look again in the morning.
So you are coming to Seattle- cool! I think you mentioned once before you have friends living here now? I'm hoping you arrive after July when we consider summer to really start here, but even in June 2 weeks should give you a nice string of some sunny days. Camping is great all around the area. You have two mountain ranges to choose from- in addition to the Volcanos, the Pacific beaches aren't that far, and island camping would be fun too. I'd be quite happy to suggest some places to go, and of course you have other CTF friends in the area too like Charlie, Ann and Yvonne among others.

I'm coming out Seattle way this summer and cannot wait! Was there for a day way back when...but this time plan on doing some camping and visiting for about 2 weeks. This is so full of color and vibrancy. I keep wanting it to be just a tad more brighter??? I know there is clouds and shadows...but nonetheless nicely done Brent. :) jano

Thanks Penny, Lydia, and Doug :-) That's a pity it rained the whole time on your only visit to Seattle Penny. I don't know what time of year you visited, but the summers are usually quite nice here. Though as a somewhat excepted local of 17 years now I'm not supposed to advertise that fact and will temper it by telling you we had over 100 straight days of measureable rain one year ;-)

I love your pictures of Seattle. I only visited there once and it rained the whole time - everything was so dreary looking. You make the city sparkle.
