Thanks Doug, the camera was going for a shutter speed of 1/800 but the parrot was turning dark. So I switched to manual to see if I could improve on it, Seems to have helped - Debi

good for you! I can't even seem to get my exposure right when the camera is set on automatic (hence the big buildings). ha ha ha Penny STreet

I was not very sure about this one. Too many branches looked very busy and the sky was dull. But I was lucky to have it perched so close to my bedroom window. And I am really thrilled becasue I shot it in manual mode and managed to get the exposure right :D - Debi
