Was that Lancaster? Yes the corn is for livestock feed and the soybeans goes to Lancaster for sale. Ha, one of our friends was selling tomatoes, and other vegetables and had one of those boxes but soon had to bolt it down as he went out and the box or the money got stolen. ;0

Ah, you are growing livestock feed corn. I hear prices are up, so good for you guys. I'll bet your tomatoes and green beans are good. I did a three day road tour of your part of the world once looking for fall color- it was beautiful! I loved buying produce by the side of the road too, where it was on the honor system- just put your money for what you took in a bucket.

Sorry Brent,
These are store potatoes but in the past we have grown potatoes and had fair yield.
Corn we grow is for the corn cribs for resale to livestock sales.
My best garden produce is tomatoes and green beans. :)

Nice work Sue Anne, do you grow much of your own produce on the farm or are you mostly doing corn? I guess you would have to eat a lot of frozen and canned in the winter though.

Thanks ....
I think my hubby is used to me taking pictures of food, but he really thought I was weird for taking this one. :)

Ya know.... this is perfect! I thought this challenge may bring out some great comments and images, and this is the perfect example of that. I mean thinking about your poor hubby waiting for his taters while you take a quick pic just put me on the floor. This challenge is meant to be fun with some humor as a sidelight. You certainly accomplished that! For a food pic, this is great. Enjoy your taters :) lol

This must be the payoff from your daughters peeling. What, did Josh get the evening off? -COAmature
