Nice post. Really stands out fromt the rest of the crowd. Sharpness could be better, but that is okay. - J.V.

Thanks! I had a leftover feather from the peacock that showed up at our place a couple of years ago. He wasn't really welcoming for approaches, but he did pose for me from a distance fairly often. Even put his feathers out. Of course, I fed him cat food and chicken feed (his choice of which to steal), so I suppose he was repaying me. His face can be seen in Exhibition (with a green background).

This photo is really poor quality (50% degradation)... the original is really nice.

Rod, NOBODY wants to see me in a mini skirt. Those days are LONG gone. :) ~Lydia

I think Lydia is fooling us, this looks like the pattern from her mini skirt:-)

Brave girl getting so close to that oversized bird. The colors and patterns work well. I like the filled frame. -tv

Nice colorful image Lydia. I may have to find something like this as the weather is not cooperating to enable me to go out and take pictures of live birds. :-( CJ

love this. The lines and the colours make a great shot. And very different to anything else in here - claire

Very nice colors...and they look well in abstract.

Sweet! A nice abstract take on the texture of a feather. You should experiment some with these. They are amazing structures. -- Bruce
