Lots of warm color and charm gets sucked right out by that silly sign. Nicely done John.

Great eye to notice something like that and to capture it in camera! Well done!

I'll be sure to visit JG's when we are in Dallas as it looks like a great place to have a burger - love all those old signs and antiques and you did a great job of capturing the atmosphere! :-) CJ

I'm sure there are no shortages of burger joints in Texas so being named #1 must be quite the accomplishment. -COAmature

Those Texas shoplifters must pack nail pullers! LOL Some pretty interesting things they've got bolted to the wall - looks like a giant slingshot and a pair of lethal dividers - or is that a gopher trap? - Kelly

I always enjoy seeing the ole collectibles on restaurant walls too. Good to have a camera to take to these places to record it all. :)

Over the years, JG's has moved from No 2 to No 1 hamburger joint in Dallas (as voted by the food critics and Dallas magazine). I guess fame and fortune have brought him more than just customers. This is our favorite burger place but we haven't been there in a while since it is in down in Dallas, a little over 20 miles south.

Besides his famous old junk on the walls, there is a new security system, and these signs on the walls. John
