Amazing catch Tv. Yes, I too think the restriction is for tripods and/or commercial shooting. But even with tripods, you might get away with that if you're the only one shooting. When shooting in groups the tripod might be an issue. -Techo

Great photo and the extreme wide angle is producing a very exaggerated effect on the architecture enhanced by the vertical strips of light. -Cat

Thanks John & Kelly. Until friday, I did carry my S70 everywhere but now it is inoperable from a hard collision with the floor. I think the restriction on "street photography" has to do with tripods only. -tv

What is John talking about? Did New York really end up banning street photographers? I remember reading or hearing about professional photographers and videographers on New York streets being grossly limited but haven't heard whether the law actually took effect. Nice stripes BTW TV. - Kelly
