Thanks for the comments, y'all. This is a weird photo, IMhO. I knew it would be outside my box in maybe several ways. I don't think I was prepared for what it would look like, really. So, special thanks for your appreciation of my efforts. Cheers, -mikey

(looks like the Luxor hotel in Vegas has competition...) great idea to take advantage of your weather situation, a very eerie shot. - b.c.

Thats great, I like the misty, hazy qualities and no sense of scale works really well...

You went to a lot of trouble but it paid off handsomely, well done.

Thanks for the comments, Lydia, Kelly & Armin. We seldom have fog in our area, so when we got this winter weather with fog and sleet, I thought of this old burned log cabin/house with no roof on a large being-developed lot; trees cut, roads being built but not quite totally demolished, as yet. I put a Coleman Powermate cordless spotlight (4" lens) in the middle of the floor and shot it at various shutter speeds. There was a slight breeze blowing with large amounts of moisture in the air, so all the detail is pretty much "washed" out. I was surprised how much color came out in this pic. Before processing, I fully anticipated that it would be best in B&W, but when I saw this I left it in color. Thanks again, -mikey

Mikey, have you been playing with dolls again? *wink* Or is this full size? I'm fascinated. I can't figure it out. ~Lydia
