I'm glad you left the set-up in the shot Mary Anne. For those, like me, who know nothing of portraiture and professional studio set-ups, this is very enlightening (pardon the pun). I take it that the white surfaces are light boxes? Apart from the educational benefit, I like this shot a lot. Julie

Thanks for the comments, Kelly. I purposely did not crop off the peripheral objects because I wanted to give more of a boxed-in look. (Not too many boxes in my HD!) --Mary Anne

What's the story going on here Mary Anne? I'd be tempted to tightly crop the two figures and dispense with the side light, back drops etc. - just a thought FWIW. - Kelly
