3rd: Little Boxes of Light
by b. c.

Aichi, Japan

Korean Pavillion, Expo 2005

I resisted all urges here to use the Transform tool to straighten out all the verticals,
as I am sometimes prone to do.... does that count? :-)

Just wonderful...

thanks everyone. Kelly I didn't look closely at the time but I think that grid is just a wooden frame? Lonnit the repeating pattern of cubes all different sizes and orientations is what originally caught my eye, and shooting up like this in fairly close seemed a good way to catch them, floating above like this. thanks again! - b.c.

Very spacey - I love it! Are they powered by that grid or power just supplied through it? - Kelly

This is wonderful, b.c.! So much going on to explore. I've come back to it a couple of times and each time found something else new. ~Lydia

You did the right thing B as we straighten our shots far too much & make them boring. None of the greats bothered about squaring things up, it was the subject matter & feel that counted for them. This has a sense of dynamism, so well done mate:-)

How absolutely wonderful b.c. The whole image gives the illusion of floating. Julie

I like it. It's pretty, it's an interesting angle, I like the organic curves contrasting the grids and boxes, adn I like the replication of the of grid in the frames of each side of each box. The tilt also adds tension and interest. Overall, this image could not have been more well shot. All topped off with superb processing. Great job! ~ Lonnit
