Don't feel bad B.C.; I got home on a redeye flight a week ago today and went straight in to work where I have been every day since- and it has snowed here in Seattle too. It was nice to get in a little sun though :-)
This is on Kauai near the SW corner, tons of construction going on that will change the feel of the little town nearby no doubt. The earth was quite red everywhere on the island.

which of the islands is this? such rich red soil against a great looking sky. (you know you're making us crazy with these vacation shots of yours... some of us have been shovelling snow this weekend!). - b.c.
