Rod, no problem. :-)
I agree that my one is not the best - it was fully wrong exposured (see my comments below), but for me the Pending version is a bit too 'hard' and too 'dramatical'.
I will try to improve my one - not sure that I have enough time for that - tomorrow I'm flying to Australia.
Guys - I'm looking forward to see your great work in December's Challenges. And thank everybody for your comments !
Konstantin

Kon I've posted a darkened version of this picy in Pending which for me has more mood. I hope you don't mind me playing with your picy. We have a bad habit of asking after we have done it:-)

Don't worry about me Kon as my bark is far worse than my bite:-) We should all take picys how we want them to look but for me too much detail in some shots (like HDR) take all the mood out of a picy. I would think this would gain more of a mood (feel) if the shadows were much darker.
Welcome to Eligible mate & I hope you really enjoy your new Dslr, It's a great camera.

I really worryed being afraid to see Rod's comment - 'Nha ... and where are the Leading Lines ?".
Thanks for your comments. Sorry - I can't explain how I get shadows so light. I can't really exaclty explain how I got this shot - some days ago I bought my FIRST digital SLR and this was my FIRST night shot with it. Later on I found that I did everything wrong - see you, under the bridge was too dark to look into the 'Operating manual'. :-) Anyway, I spent some time later working with Raw Editor to get what you see. But I am not sure that I'm able to reproduce result once more :-).
Ladies & Gentlemen - this is my very FIRST entry to Eligible !

Looks like the 40d has some great dynamic range. I love the symetrical stripes of light. -tv

very cool lines and lighting, it looks like a graphics art design rather than a photo. - b.c.

This is a very cool shot. I really like the colors. This bridge would be a good candidate for an ND filter and a really long shutter speed, to give you a hazy-glass look to the water.

Great leading lines Ky well done. How do you get the shadows so light?

Awesome. I especially like the color scheme and light creating the radiating lines. John

Peaceful, almost surreal. -COAmature
