Start with Yellow and add Brownish Red

I never noticed that a Red Brown Pansie looks like it was built from yellow stock.

It's nice to see the play of colors standing out among the thumbnails and pansies make such funny faces. You need to get out more. :-) -tv

Thanks but ... Go to work in the dark, come home in the dark, and eat in the cafeteria. I ran outside at lunch and over one building to take a picture on my knees (pants have dirt on the knee) with a camera I am not supposed to have on company grounds. The life of an engineer doesn't really lend itself to photography much. If I wait until a weekend I might get duties such as Rod's that upset the daytime I have. But I will try harder, John.

Pretty decent entry. I like the low angle and closeup on the left shot the best. It looks like these shots were during the middle of clear day. Waiting until later in the day would give you a little more dramatic lighting. -J.V.

Thanks. I noticed that too but every time I named something more humorously someone comments. I did notice that the yellow one looked like a face but didn't realize he/she was a boxer. The SD800 had the 28mm equivalent lens i.e. 4.6mm John

Wide angle and plants is a lot of fun. But 4.6mm? Must be some conversion I'm missing here. Anyway - the yellow one looks very grumpy in the shot on the right side. I see a funny action shot here, like the yellow one has walked over to the red, and is about to take a swing at it.. "why are YOU getting all the attention". The "hanging" yellow flowers on the sides remind of big hands or boxing gloves. Drama in the flowerbed :)
