I'm pretty sure that at first I would have cloned out the leaf as an impurity... then sat wondering why it lost "tension". But then I do a lot of other dopey things too. -tv

Textures lines and simplicity of the shot on the right is awesome. I think replacing the left shot with a detailed view of the leaf would be worth a try. -J.V.

It's really good to know lydia has a nice pair:-) Yes this is one of those rare shots that just work without any particular visual stimulations. Excellent eye & photography Lydia.

Several incisive comments precede my first view; so I'll just say this is terrific with some very nice subtleties - more complicated than it appears. But that's an attribute of much "minimal" art, hiding complexity in a simple envelope. To me, the sharply defined shadow of the leaf is a master stroke that tickles my eye... no at first, but with a delay.. wow! -tv

Good stuff :) Minimalism with maximum texture and excellent 'counterpoints'.. 3 more or less distinct curves in the left one .- one triangle in the right one. And the little "star" - very fitting - this one shines :) -k2
