It does work better for us left to right readers, goodun John.

Mirrored it is. Now for people that read left to right, the events are in sequence. It is interesting that time is important in a picture that is meant to imply both events took place in this space. I was going to combine them back to back with the red bench forming a "V" but couldn't pass up on the unusual limb structure and trunk when combined this way. Changing the name to just Kissing Tree. Wonderful moment but I agree it may be more effective mirrored. -mcbit

great use of symmetry - and nice capture of the spontaneous moment! would it view more 'logically' if you swapped the left and right? (I mean, mirror the whole set keeping tree in middle). not sure but just a thought - b.c.

Very well done and the tree in the middle works like one big picture.

That looks like a relaxing afternoon. My great-grandmother actually attended that university for a couple years.

TV, no one around for us to be embarrassed but I was racing back from setting the camera up (flushed) and my wife was laughing at me because I had to hustle and then sit down slow and calm. I think I surprised her because I turned around quick and kissed her just before the timer shot. The one on the left is after the one on the right. John

It's just my imagination, but I can feel them blushing after being caught in the act. Very effective use of "reflection" that I would normally consider hokey. -tv

Rod, that's easy. All you have to do is know her for over 30 years -- next year is our 30th. I'm thinking Windjammer Barefoot Cruise in the Caribbean Islands. John

this set of shots is a beautiful way of portraying some loving moments. -Abstract

I don't want to know how you got this very nice shot but I do want to know how to get a kiss from a luvely lady:-)

Had the SD800 propped up on a unipod which also serves as my walking stick for hikes. Was taking the second shot just in case when I was overcome with spontaneity. John
