Thanks for the comments. I took about 20 shots from this position, then tightened the crop. If I applied Rod's ideal of no cropping in pp, this wouldn't have worked. -tv

I think this really is great for all the same reasons as others Tommy. I like the angry guy on the mobile phone to the right who appears to be calling a hit on someone from a rival mob family ;-)

This is my favorite of your city shots Tom and even though the photographer's white sweater draws the eye first, there is so much to look at around the edges that it doesn't rest on her long.It looks like the guy in the poster is not too happy with you! ;-) CJ

Very stylish ans well photographed Tom. The hairstyle of the photographer mimicing the poster is great. Julie

You truly have the eye for this style of shot. Absolutely wonderful. Your close portrait crop adds a lot of intensity. We are spread out in the Dallas area. Only at an event/game/concert have I see this many people that could fit into a single shot. On the freeway it is cars but I dare not take my hands off the wheel to get this kind of shot. I will have to emulate this with other objects. Thanks for these pictures. John

What a wonderful shot Tom, I can see how the large DOF and crop has made it very busy, also the slight angle has made it more claustrophobic, and enhanced the crowd, even the billboard picks up on the crowd theme!!

This works really well with the sign mimicking the street scene, well done mate.

this is great Tom, your urban scenes are terrific, and here - very cluttered! I see this kind of shot of yours and think "that's it!" for the topic, but somehow my brain isn't wired to find these type of thing myself :( Anyhow as I commented to someone else I have a soft spot for an interesting b/w, too. hard to beat this one, I think! - b.c.
