The blend of rust (center) and the great splash of rust on "new" chrome (rim on floor) really save the picture from the dreary colors of the other rims. John
This image illustrates an important variation on the topic that works well. First, attention is very well disbursed throughout the frame by the continuous clutter. Second, it avoids uniformity that can undo a desirable tension as the result of just enough variation in the placement of the wheels, and the secondary theme and overlay of the shelf framing and ladder. The tight framing does the necessary amount of compression. -tv
