Thanks Rod, Armin, Brent, and Tom. Appreciate your comments.
Armin, I'm waiting for a model like Lonnit, I bet she will have a blast in a studio (that's a complement, Lonnit). Rod, tried that, unfortunatelly the back of the strobes is black so they didn't show up. Somebody in another forum suggested turning them a bit, I think that will work.

Tom, it is a bit dark but I kindda like it that way.

Cheers mates.

I hate to be the iconoclast but can't it be a little brighter to let these old eyes see the colors better. I think my monitor is well calibrated, so I played with levels and reposted a version to pending. -tv

She's busy taking her cloths off:-)

wonderful, but where is lonnit? :o)

Ah your title makes even more sense now Aamm, maybe a little bit of a wider shot would make your point better. As it is it looks to be a normal study of a chair & a backdrop that's too small but if it was a wider shot there would be no doubt. You're getting very deep wiv your shots mate must be good stuff you're smoking:-)

Thanks Techo and Rod. The idea is to show a chair being photographed not the chair itself. The original idea was to include the strobes but that didn't come out too well.
Cheers

You did really well here Aamm the chair & scarf look tremendous. I think I would like the look more if the carpet went all the back or it was just the cement floor. You did a great job on lighting the chair & scarf. Well done mate.

It's a good looking shot alright. Elegant too. Nicely setup shot and lighting. And I like the chair. Did you have much there in the background, if not, I would've like it without the collapsible one.

You got that right, RK. That lens Creates light. A piece of art/engineering onto itself.

Thanks Aam on the bg info. Noticed that you got the 85mm 1.2 lens. Thats a great lens (king of all Canon lenses, atleast for me) for portraits and low light photography...shooting wide open produces some great results.

Thanks, RK. It's a collapsible BG from Lastolite. Still waiting for a real background from Photoflex.

Great shot Aam. Whats the background? - RK

Thanks, Britt. I was debating whether I should. Guess I should.

Nice to see you around again, Britt.

This is a great shot aam...can you rotate it so it's straight? -Britt
