Sorry I missed the "Work in progress" versions :) I like what I see including K2's version in pending.
Good work!

Thanks Kiki for your suggestion and upload to pending. I like both new versions better :-)

Uploaded to pending. A little brighter than this version, and wee bit colder yellows and greens.

Nice :) The background got a little lost earlyer, now it adds interest. A cleaner CMYK look. i'll upload when I get back home, it's pretty much the same as this.

I didn't mind the background before, but somehow you managed to make the photo even more vivid with this change. I wouldn't soften it any - I like it as is.

Thanks for offering a ladies perspective to the comments Kiki :-) I ran with your idea about the green and changed the background color (if that is what you were referring to) to look a little more emerald. It is a subtle change, but I think I like it better. I'd also be happy to see what changes you would make posted in pending.

I'm not a bloke and that's a nice flower :) The greens are a little brownish IMO, at least in contrast to the color of the flower. May be my monitor, I don't quite trust it! Gave it a little wash and dye in LAB mode anyways, will upload in pending if you allow.

Thanks guys, this seems kind of funny in that this is a pretty flower and so far only blokes are commenting on it :-) I can't take credit for the nice flowers in our garden- that's Robynne's hobby. I didn't really sharpen this one much and after a test I'm hesitant to upload a softened version because of the nice water drops that look best crisp and sharp I think...?

Great composition. Maybe a bit strong for me also but just a bit. -COAmature

Looks very nice but it might be a over sharp for a a flower which eminates softness to me. Colours look very good.
