That's funny Charlie- I hope I didn't crop you out! Man, that would have been great if you had randomly ended up in my image :-)
I guess with the three images I currently have posted I have fdowntown fairly well covered with Westlake Center, Post Alley, and Pioneer Square. We can't get all the kind of shots we want downtown, but it is nice to have so many opportunities outside the office- mine is 100 meters to the left. So glad this shot wouldn't be possible today- summer rain was getting old.

You know, Brent, if you had waited another second or two, you might have captured me in your image. This is right outside my office building. I think it might be my shoe you are showing at the top of the image.

OK, I'm just kidding, except for the part about this being outside my building.

Nicely done, by the way. I suppose I have a right to be jealous, but instead I'll just be glad that you did Seattle proud.

Regards,
Charlie

You certainly have the eye for complex patterns and how to integrate them into a whole framefilling composition. The is reminiscent of your distance effect shots and just as pleasurable. What really makes this one work for me is the tile pattern opposed by the diagonal flow of the pedestrians. Very nicely timed and framed. -tv

The street pattern along with the grain and lack of color make this look antique which I think is what this challenge is about. Very nice. -COAmature

Yeah boy, the grain works very well here. It ties all of the sharp shapes and human figures together and seems to add an element of dynamism to the frame. -- Bruce

I like this - the patterns of the street to it adds to the composition of the wet people.

Yes it does.

"Luck/accident" was something we discussed under one of RK's photos. One gets lucky if he/she is trying.

This is a classic photo written all over it. Thumbs are up from this guy. And oh, you might want to print it big too.

Gee Aam, thanks! This was just a little something I did around the corner from my office on a lunch break. I didn't have much time for PP (just felt like getting something posted now), and you were right in that it did need a curve adjustment- hope this looks better to you now.

I can't stop looking at this photo. Somebody stop me please :)

Btw Brent, the photo needs a bit of contrast. Not through "chop them up" contrast slider, but through Curves. Would love to see the result, if you try it.

Wow Brent, you are out-doing yourself. Get outta here. Love it!!
