Thanks all.
Aam, assuming you mean 'not planned' when you say accident. This was a planned shot, traveled 50miles to this location, a wonderful/peaceful place where these birds congregate for the fish in the nearby stream/marshland. Wanted to capture silhouette of a bird against the setting sun. The camera was set in AI-Servo mode to track these birds in flight and with shutter priority took several pictures out of which a couple came out good. Agree with Rod about luck, in spite of all these preparations wasnt sure if I had nailed any of these birds in flight till I got home and loaded the pictures in the computer. Most of the pictures were spot on in terms of exposure but the birds were blurred...looking back should have picked a much higher shutter speed.

Post processing: f22 brought out a lot sensor dust, cloned them out, cropped a bit and increased saturation in Adobe Lightroom.

Only your better picys are luck Aamm, all mine are luck. The better ones are good luck & the rubbish ones are bad luck:-)

Rod, being an accident is not a bad thing. Heck, all of my better pics where taken by accident/luck.

Hence the confusion Aamm, in your attempt to critique & be polite below you said the shot looks very good that's why I posted wot I did but now you say it's not very good it puts your comment more in perspective.

Don't forget Aamm a photographer can make their own luck. RK had his camera focused on this bird looking almost into the sun so it's not really an accident even though he might not know the results until downloading on the computer.
The lens flare works really well here too, well done RK.

Looks very good. But can't help wonder if everything in the photo was by accident.
