tsunami

Balboa Peninsula

I wish I could have gotten high enough to get any of the environment.
This is posted very high on this pole.
I guess as the flood waters rise it will still be visible...

I only wish they'd given the guy a slope that seemed somewhat climbable.
Talk about a sign that doesn't give one much hope!

Thanks Tommy!

I actually live near Balboa Peninsula. I'd never seen these tsunami signs before. I was walking some friends' dogs that weekend and there was this great sign. It was like I knew what the next challenge would be!

I'm glad I live at the top of a hill!

Seems like good advice and I caught myself laughing. What are you doing there? OK some vacation no doubt. What makes this so funny is the flimsy line strung off of the pole to somewhere equally precarious. Very effective composition where the surroundings of the sign contradict the weightiness of the message. -tv
