I’m glad you like it, Jens. This is not really a crop: I framed tight on purpose, in order to give «the monster» a more impressive look. There is another image of the same «subject», though, with more space around it: <http://www.pbase.com/bollag/image/61533811 I have not considered entering that one for several reasons, not the least of them being the picture’s chromatic aberrations; but, please let me know, anyway, if you’d have preferred the composition. Thanks a lot for commenting! — db.

Wow, that's cool. The six eyes make me dizzy :)
I also really like the colours here. The crop is maybe a bit tight (top and sides) but then again, I don't know whether there was something that needed to be cropped out.

Thank you, tv, for pointing this out. You are absolutely right: the more personality it gets, the less abstract it will be. I will have to decide whether I want it to follow Denise and Christina in their dreams or my picture to be on-topic. Thanks a lot, Christina and tv, for your friendly remarks! — db.

Effective anthropomorphic transformation here although first I thought it was a big sci-fi rocket ship engine. Now the creature seems mostly just insatiably curious. But as it takes on more personality, it becomes less abstract. -tv

Great! And so cute/creepy! I love this! I always feel like I'm being watched as well!

I am glad my six-eyed monster has detected you with its slightly squinting look, shu. It will follow you now for a while—especially in your dreams!—protecting you from evil; it is a *good* monster, mind you, doing no harm to anyone. ;-) Thanks for commenting! — db.

Two three-eyed monsters with deadpan expressions! (That's all I can see now.) The "eyes" appear to be third-dimensional. Nice one, db! shu
