Many thanks, Mary Anne, for your friendly remark! I do appreciate your taking the time and making the effort to comment. — db.

Wot a grumpy sod just because his silly sig got a mention. It ruins this shot mate..........only IMHO:-)

Well seen and nicely shot, db. It certainly gives the sense of a three-dimensional abstract piece.

Please never mind, tv: it has less to do with the subject of sigs itself and more with the manners in which this subject was discussed before—over and over again—in this challenge; it has *nothing at all* to do with you nor with your opinion! Thanks for understanding (or at least accepting) my unwillingness to enter again that argument here. (If you wish, send me an eMail which I, of course, would answer with pleasure.) — db.

OK I'll shut up about it. Just don't understand it. -tv

Thank you very much, Christina and tv, for your amicable comments! I’m glad you like my picture. But, please!, let’s not start that discussion on sigs again (and again and again): we have already had for years one ctfchallenge-member totally obsessed to nearly rudeness with the matter. Let’s accept that there are two schools on the subject (both with good reasons for their—opposed—opinions); let’s, therefore, just agree to disagree! — db.

Nicely detailed and effectively executed shot, but why mar the subtilities of the pattern by imposing the sig on the image? -tv

Excellently done! I really like the layers of pattern here. Very nice!
