Good idea actually. I would appreciate it even more if the surface to the right of the insect would be more uniform, like the surface to the left of it

This is a neat trompe d'oeil shot - looks like an frozen lake until you focus on the ant. Then it looks like an ant on a frozen lake. But that doesn't compute... BTW, Fujifilm challange is looking for pics of insects. -tv

I see distance here just fine Aam. You did a nice job with this, but I can't help wishing the surface you shot on (tile floor?) didn't have the smudges on it, as they tend to pull my attention from the ant a little too much. Nice creative thinking :-)

I'm not sure if this doesn't say more about space than distance Aammm but we can imagine the distance the ant has travelled. You shot this really well, I love the little ants shadow. Well done mate:-)
