I really like the range of focus on this shot and your choice of framing. It has a 3-D quality. Very nice colors too. Very nice.

Thanks Andy, it really does look more settled with the leveling adjustment. Thanks Rod, I took a few shots and liked this comp with just a glimpse to the right of the tree. I think the slight opening adds to the suggestion of heading out to the high seas without trawing too much attention away from the focal point- in theory ;-)

Yes lovely looking shot Brent, it looks stronger when I crop to the right 1/3rd of the tree, as often being able to see past both sides of the tree diminishes the focal point.

Ah! That "looks" better to my eye. I know what you mean about colors. I find the same with some of the detail and sharpening of images. So many variable on the web - one of the reasons I still lprefer to print some my images. :)

Thanks Andy, that island across the bay actually comes closer to the right and that is what made the bank look askew. Still, most viewers won't realize that and it will look funny. So I straightened it and I think people will like it better this way- thanks for the help :-) I also noticed that Pbase will not display color correctly here. The red flowers were bright red in real life and were in my image before uploading. I tried uploading a new copy, but no luck. Oh well :-(

The framing is a treat - cant miss your focal point here.
