I think the exposure is excellent. Very clever using the radiating light to form a natural frame in addition to the foliage surrounding the lamp.

Nice and clean compo, and spot on theme. It has a kind of mystic feel too it that I like.

Thanks Andy. Tried a few with negative EC (exposure compensation) till I got this one.

Nice framing and light, leaving just enough detail in the outer growth.

Thanks Tom. Glad you like it.

Clear, crisp & gives me that "quiet feeling" of 'late at night'. Thanks

Hi CJ. I sure did use a tripod.
ctfchallenge29-Apr-2007 14:47
Nice one aam - did you use a tripod or are you really steady at 1/2s? I find my lenses have a hard time getting a good focus for these night shots. :-) CJ

Ha ha, thanks Rod. Paul, I'll check again and see if it needs more sharpening. Thanks for the comment and nice to see you around.

I like it but somethings not right but i can't put my finger on it. There's a sensation of wanting to rub my eyes as if it's not clear enough. Perhaps my eyes are full of gunk..............
Rod 28-Apr-2007 05:06
I knew Aammm used that camera & lens but because the shot is quite good I didn't think it was him:-)

Great example of why I need to upgrade my S2. -COAmature

Haven't used the 70-200 f4 in a long time. That must've threw you off :)
Brent 28-Apr-2007 00:11
Ah, it was you Aam. I was trying to figure out who shot with that camera and lens combination- now I know.
aam1234 27-Apr-2007 17:53
It's cool to be mysterious, have to do that often :)
Brent 27-Apr-2007 14:46
Thanks for getting us started in eligible mystery artist, a darkness frame works very well. Please don't forget to post your name :-)
