Great idea on a sad event.

Good capture - I heard it more than reading it..... radio form. A sad day indeed.

This is a great image for this terrible event Doug & a lot of good art is confronting but for a fun challenge like this it brings in a reality that I come here to forget. I would have preferred some lighter news item.

Marvelous! You have brought a sobering reality into this challenge....shu

Great composition & use of 'blank space'!

This fits very well with the song. And you did a good job of exposing for both the monitor and your face. Good work, Doug. ~Sharon

And I thouhgt I should add that your face is lit imo perfectly and with a great expression. The monitor is right on so I can actually read it... Very well done. Kudos to you. jano

Perfect. You captured the essence of the lyric well...unfortunate but I guess those lyrics stay true today. Well done!! jano

Oh my, I hadn't heard the news when I commented just a moment ago- so terrible!
Brent 17-Apr-2007 01:33
Looks like a modern twist on the news- I read most of my news online these days. Crisp and well shot Doug, I would maybe consider cloning out that one light spot below the screen. Good work.

A very sad day today. My prayers go out to the victims, friends, and families of our fallen brothers in Virginia today. -Doug
