Thanks Armin, I don't think they ever fully recover but they can get some of their life back, sort of like a recovered alcoholic.

Great subject & shot Armin & it hits home down here as our daughter Holly was self harming for a short while (she has Bulimia) Lucky for Holly as she used to cut around her waist line but we met girls that did their arms & they never covered the scarring. I think I would like to see some burning in on the shadows on the left of the shot to tone down the brightness a bit as it's almost overpowering the shot. Awesome shot mate:-)
