CJ, i'll try a bit more editing on this shot tomorrow....
Henry the sharpening did help, if you check the exif I shot this at 1/100s at 300mm!!!
Lol...

Jammy, this is a good shot and I think it could benefit from even more contrast and darkening pp to bring out the details in the beak and feathers. I tried it and it seemed to work for me. I love flamingos! CJ

I think the sharpening helped quite a bit. - Henry

It is the same shot Rod, but I sharpened it a little from the previous version that I felt was a little soft..

Is this the same shot Jammy? I can't remember the highlight on the neck being there, that's why I said flat lighting as I didn't notice any lighting effects on the bird. Flat lighting is where there's very little change of tones due to the even light everywhere therefore we don't notice the light as one of the features in the shot.

Thanks guys.
RK, the highlights were blown a bit on purpose.
Rod when you say flat light, what exactly do you mean by that?
If I remember correctly the light was from a hole in the roof and not my camera's flash :)

Form I can see but not light, flat light isn't really noticeable. So make your title just "Form":-) ...........wot you fink:-) hehe
