This is my 25 year old daughter's toe! It has been like that since before birth. We had it surgically moved to the normal position when she was four but it just felt so lonely on the end that it started hugging it's sisters again. She said it does not hurt and it certainly helps that she does not wear high heel pumps.
Thanks for the comments. I added some color but it only made her look sunburned. Permission is granted to anyone who would like to try alterations - just don't cut the toenails.
