I personally like it better. It is more stark and strange looking. I like the you include some of the tricep, I guess it is, that adds to the abstraction of the body part. I think it's neat looking.
The tattoo is actually of a wizard but covers an older tattoo. This shows the crook of his elbow however the picture is not as close as before. Let me know what you think.

Son is on his way here now and I will take a bend in the arm picture to see how that comes out. I will also ask him what the heck it is.
I think this is interesting too. I do think a different composition would make it a more dynamic shot. Maybe if we saw the bend of the elbow or the wrist we would get more of a feel of the size of it.
Interesting abstract tatoo - wish I knew what it was though. Maybe if you took this getting more of the arm and tat, it might be an interesting shot too. CJ
