aam - thanks yes was lying of floor to take this shot, did crop off the top for final pic.

Abstract - thanks, this lens is great - I have been leaving it on as my walk about lens for now and favor it much over the kit lens and the sigma 17-70. I just have to use my legs for the 'zoom' effect.

Rod - I try to stay away from the hard stuff at holidays so I don't fall asleep. ;)
I have enjoyed the challenges, learned alot (also from you :)) ) and a happy 2007 for all the CTF'ers. :) (smiles)

Love the angle here. Were you laying down when taking the photo.

very nice capture of the moment, Sue anne. 50/1.4 surely gives nice, but difficult to control, dof. you have been using it more often than the kit-lens, i see. -Abstract

How did you take such great shots Sue Anne? Unlike me & Jano you must have been sober:-)
Wiv young kids around that's all you need for a good Chrissy but as they get older we tend to hit the bottle (or from now on Mereana's egg nog):-)hehe.
Luv from us lot
Merry Xmas:-)
