Hogging the view

Sydney Harbour

We took a picnic for the 2 of us down to the harbour. I sat on the rug while Lady Muck had her lounger. Heavy overcast morning but beautiful blue sky in the arvo. We usually take a picnic to the beach on xmas day but we're both getting sick of sand in the sarnies as we get older so the harbour will be our xmas day from now on.

We had Coronation Chicken that' i'd cooked and made myself plus lashings of ginger beer. What more could a woman want on xmas day?

Balls to the blown Opera House, it was horrid light. I just lay on the rug and got drunk instead, a nice way to spend chrissie day. Glad it's finished but.......

Wot a mean sod, if I was married to Emma I would have took her to somewhere exotic like the Capalaba Tavern, they had a turkey counter lunch for $6 & that's wiv chips.
Tell Emma I gave her a big kiss on the screen & whilst doing so I noticed the Opera House was blown:-)
Ave a good one you two:-)
